MEET OUR PASTOR

Reverend John R. Allen III

Greetings Gentlepeople,

I am generally known as ‘Pastor John’ and serve the Lord’s congregations at Unity-Washington United Methodist Church located on Main Street in Hurlock; and also Wesley United Methodist Church located on Eldorado Road in Finchville, Maryland.

Wife Kelly and I celebrate (48) years of marriage this year, and we live in our home a couple miles outside of Denton.  We have two daughters, Rachael and Emily;  and three grandchildren, Maggie, Dawson, and Zane.  In addition… we have our pet canine ‘Francis-Jane’ and (2) cats who call themselves ‘Joseph’ and ‘June’.

As far as hobbies go, I enjoy working on cars and piloting a small aircraft we own, otherwise known as ‘Gracie’.

I have been blessed with a passion for ministry and through the Grace of God I simply enjoy all creation.
